Louisville Zoo!

All I wanted to find at the zoo was the Barn Owl!

But my timid spirit took the best of me (either that or the rainy weather equaling scarce employees) and I did not ask where he would be.

Maybe he was suppose to be in one of the few "exhibit under construction" displays.

My hopes is that he looked something like this one...

Regardless, nothing beats exotic animals on a rainy day!

I'm getting so much done...Don't bug me

I wanted to start posting owl pictures of how I am currently feeling.

On a side note, here is an awkward story.

Yesterday, I was at a school working with middle school students. In an attempt to get to know them better, I created a "Whose Who" survey of questions (yes, I included an educational owl perched atop a book). One of the questions asked if there was anything else they wanted me to know. Here was one response:

"Nope. But today I am bored so I will be a panda for the rest of the day. "

Hmmm.. How to respond? What a quadinkadink. Pandas love school!
